With grateful hearts….

Dear Friends,

On behalf of Fr. Tuan, let us give thanks to our loving God for sharing Sr. Rose Donohoe, CSJP with us for the past 22 years. We have been blest beyond measure by the gifts she has chosen to share with us in the past and we look to the future for more of the same!

Thank you to Fr. Tom, Fr. Dave, Sr. Barbara and to all of Sr. Rose's community and family who traveled here to Visitation to spend the day with us in celebration. A special thank you to Fr. Poao who offered to assist Fr. Tom at the Mass celebrating Sr. Rose. Our gratitude goes to our choir and their dedication to us providing us with just the right music to celebrate Sr. Rose.

There is much to celebrate here at Visitation! We celebrate a community built on gospel values who enjoy getting together to share a meal. We take great pleasure in being together sharing our lives. We are gathered in Love in the family of life, we are one sacred community celebrating the words "I have come that you may have life in all its fullness." John 10:10

A special "Thank You" goes to Visitation Parish's very own "Women's Club" for hosting this wondrous and joyous event. They were diligent in their planning and they derived much joy in putting this all into motion for our one and only, "Sr. Rose". The lower hall never looked so beautiful…

Thank you to the planning committee, and to those who brought such delicious dishes to share. Thank you to all who helped with set up and clean up. These events just don't happen without everyone's help. It was like witnessing the miracle of the loaves and fishes…food just kept on coming! Enough to send down to the Nativity House on Monday morning, enough cold cuts to make our sandwiches here at the rectory for our sack lunch program…enough for ALL to share…

Thank you to ALL who made this day a "Day to remember and cherish for years to come."
